COME ARRIVARE A LA MADDALENA
To arrive in La Maddalena Island is necessary to reach the port of Palau, and then embark on a ferry that connects the island to Sardinia (approximately 15 ‘).
Public and private shipping lines connect the island with the mainland. Confortable ferry-boats endowed with bars and panoramic decks ship cars and passengers in 20 minutes.

These are the directions to get to Palau from the main ports / airports of Sardinia: Olbia is reachable by plane and ship.
If you arrive at “Olbia – Costa Smeralda” or Commercial Port “White Island” you can continue by car up to Palau along the highway 125 (Olbia – Palau) (Duration 40 ‘).  
You can reach  Palau also with  local bus, 2 are the lines that connect Olbia to Palau, Arst and Turmotravel (approximately 1h)

– Alghero is reachable by plane. If you arrive at “Fertilia” you can drive along the 127a until Sassari and then continue along the highway 597 to Olbia. Highway 125 will allow you to reach Palau (travel time approximately 3.5 h).Porto Torres can be reached by ship. If you arrive at the commercial port you can drive along the highway SS 131 “Carlo Felice” until Sassari and then continue along the road for 597 Olbia.La 125 state will allow you to reach Palau (journey time about 3 hours)Cagliari can be reached by plane or ship. If you arrive at Elmas or the Commercial Port can continue by car up to Palau along the highway SS 131 “Carlo Felice” (Cagliari – Abbasanta – Nuoro – Olbia), then on the highway 125 (Olbia – Palau) (approximately 4 hours).For those without the accompanying car you can reach the port of Palau also by local buses, the line connects Turmotravel daily Cagliari in Palau (approx 4,30h)

 

   

 

 

 

 

SEA AND BEACHES

The beach and the superb reef Punta Tegge and Nido d’Aquila, facing the clear sea and a wonderful landscape are easily reachable on foot after only 300 metres. Many other splendid bays and inlets that characterize the magic Archipelago are at your complete disposal by car or boat.
